whats a good cx wheel - not a race wheel but more of a tough wheel for paths & trails

around the £250 a pair mark.

i have a spare set of fulcrum 7's off my road bike - would these be strong enough?

i swear by self build mavix cxp33 rims, dt db spokes, ultegra hubs. nice weight and bulletproof.

Just use your Fulcrum 7s, I've been using a pair of Campag Neutron for the last 2 years with no problems.

You could get 2 sets for your budget..
Save dicking aground changing tyres all the time..

i've just chucked my old road wheels onto the CX bike previously, always been fine (ksyrium elites etc)

ha! I was just to slow BIGMAN, the JRA wheels are what I have experience of.
