I've entered the world of modern suspension and need a shock pump. Not much money left so what is good, but cheap?
Ta
BETO.

Can probably find it for less, it sells under different brands- one of mine is branded Raleigh. Best one I've used tbh.
I have the same one as northwind, not sure on brand of mine but was cheap enough on eBay. No need to spend more IMO.
got a black rockshox one you can have for a tenner.
Got a couple of brand new still wrapped ones from my last two Treks, Bonty branded but same as my Rockshox and Fox ones, you can have one for a tenner posted.
So many offers, thanks...in true Harry Hill style which is best? Rockshox, Bonty or BETO?
FIGHT!
I have a rockshox one but it is not very accurate compared to the others I have had.
I think the BETO has a pressure release guard - it if has then get that.

Not really sure what that means... If you mean it doesn't open the spring to air (ie, what you set is what stays in the spring) then yes. (are there any decent shock pumps that don't? Pretty worthless without it)

on my topeak you attach the hose to the valve and then tighten the head down onto the valve so it compresses the release valve, and then you pump away. To remove you first unscrew the head, and then the hose. The two stage disconnect limits the pressure lost, which can be 5psi or so without this mechanism.
My old Marrzochi pump, which was supposed to be one of the better pumps, didn't have this, and neither does the rockshox one that came with my forks.
Man, that's rubbish isn't it. The BETOs are entirely pre-sealing so none of that. (though people still get confused by the psssst of air that the pump makes as it depressurises) Must admit I took it for granted that any shock pump would be the same, doesn't really seem fit for purpose otherwise.
