i want one to use at my local jumps and bmx track to get better at air for xc races,im tall 6ft3 so what do people suggest,i want cheap and second hand is fine too,just what do i look for.if anyone has anything suitable mail me but could people offer some guidance?

depends on your weight but for very cheap have a look @ this.Cannot remember but I think they have a weight restriction on them tho. Also I have never even seen one yet ridden one. Just looked ok for the money.Although s/h is probably the way to go.Most important imho would be to decide what you want. Geared or singlespeed, 24 or 26 wheels, rear brake only, and something that fits you well for your height. Are you going to riding to the trails, ie where are you going to be riding it? Skatepark, local jumps, etc. ie do you need something large enogh to ride to the trials and then put the post down etc. Try to determine the rough top tube length you want ( if poossible try a few bikes @ a shop etc.) and get a feeling of what feels ok and take it from there.

have a look at the identiti site or commencal maxmax ( although too small??) , Scott Voltage etc to get an idea of what's about.Loads of different ones about everywhere

I'd suggest you just use your XC bike.
no new cheap jump bikes are any good, especially if you are on the large/heavy side.

kona do lots of jump frames
scrap, stuff, shred even a small hoss

new kona shonky (steel) on ebay for 450 look very nice

or 350 rigid from winstanleys

im not heavy 11st 4 so that not a problem no it just for park and jumps dont need to ride there....

think there were a couple of dmr's in the classifieds. Doubt you'd go to far wrong with them.
