If anyone else is looking for some carbon XC/Trail wheels, at £650 for the pair, not a bad deal:

The two products from E13 that I've tried were both rubbish:
- E13 dropper post was terrible. 3 fixed positions, but often stuck, required service way to often and in the end it didn't work at all.
- E13 wheels, which were supposed to be trail/AM, but both rims, spokes and hubs were terrible. Had to replace both front and rear wheels within the year. (Riding about 2000km and I'm not extremely heavy either, 75Kg)
Could be that they've improved, but they lost me as a customer back then.
As per the most recent downloads available on the Newmen website, it's still a 3 pawl design.
Obviously, my one bad experience with another brand doesn't mean anything in general. But personally I try to avoid that design now.Made my choice in the meantime and went for Duke crazy Jacks with Erase hubs
Do like the look of the Erase stuff, not many reviews about. Hovered over the buy button on their site more than once
Indeed, not many reviews, but those that do exist are all positive (at least for their second generation hubs).
You can find some reviews in Dutch, but those will be mostly XC oriented.
Anyway, I liked the looks, sounds, weight and pricepoint + fully manufactured in Belgium, so willing to give it a try.
Never heard of the duke racing wheels brand before but their carbon rims look interesting.
