im needing to extend my rear brake hose, to try and use some titec h bars, instead of normal risers. ive got this goodridge kit in my garage.
unfortunately its only got a diddy piece of hose with it. in fact it even looks shorter than a front brake!! so i need some more.
can i use any hydraulic hose with this kit, or does it need to be goodridge?
at the mo, ive got 1300mm length, so im thinking i probably need 1400mm?
im thinking if i order online, itll be by the metre, so 2m length. can i cut it with normal cable cutters?
or am i best just popping into LBS and asking for 1400mm of hydraulic hose?
cheers
anyone?
I'd have though any of the goodridge hoses would work.

Any of the goodridge hoses will work, but I'd have reservations about other brands. It might work but I don't know what the liner is made from or the internal diameter.
Make sure you have VERY sharp wirecutters though and if possible use something to stop the hose being squashed. I use a small piece of brass pipe that it fits nicely inside to support it while cutting. Or buy some hose cutters.
ok thanks. goodridge it is ๐
