i usually use Hope and Pace RC31 forks but I'm trying to fit a front Hope Mono (stamped with a 5) to a set of old Niner carbon (for qr) with post mounts (?). The rotor is 160. Do I need a hope HBIS20 adaptor?

You need HBSM20H and a 180mm rotor.

Cheers, is there no way to run a 160 up front???

Unfortunately no, the post mount gets in the way of where the caliper would sit on a 160mm rotor.

Actually you could fit a 160, but it would involve tracking down a no. 9:74 Mini caliper half and a rebleed which is probably more hassle than the adapter/new rotor route! Would look neater though.
