Just made about £100 on ebay selling bike bits, which "allows" me to spend it on other bike bits. So, what should I get?
I ride a P7 SS, a jake the snake (set up as a road bike) and a steel SS road bike.
Current ideas are...
Chris King headset (though there is nothing wrong with the ones I have)
Goodridge gear cable set for the Jake?
Some carbon bars/seat post for the P7?
Some nice tyres?
Any other suggestions?
Convert to tubeless?
Super-light inner tubes?
New pedals?
Mud guards for the JTS?
APF
Some gears for your MTB of course.
APF? Tubeless might be good... gotta lose some weight from the P7 (she's a chunky girl, but a cracking ride!)
Whatever you spend it on don't waste your money on Goodridge gear cable, it's crap - makes a mess of your paintwork and is brittle, really disappointed with mine. Now replaced with shimano sp41 outer after admitting to myself that i'd wasted my money.
Treat yourself to some decent tyres if you haven't already got some or bars/post - something that will have a positive effect on your riding.
