im 6ft 5 and beguinning to start riding a little more dh rather than xc.
i ride to the uplift 25 mins away. ride it for a day then ride home.
i am doing this on a ht at the moment and im searching for a new full sus bike.
i got a budget really of £1400 and at the moment thats kind of it.
any ideas of what bikes to go for for the type of riding remembering my size.
i got a giant reign 2 2009 in mind £1200 😉 brand new also.
any other suggestions mybe spesh or other branded?

Which downhill track do you ride at?
nordkette singletrail mostly as i live only close by also this year certainly bikepark tirol...
25 mins pedalling on a DH bike? Hmm, not sure i would want to do that.
Orange Alpine perhaps? Great down hill, not too soul destroying on the way home.
I bought a Giant Reign 0 yesterday from Pauls Cycles...£2.5k reduced to £1.6k....absoloutely fabulous bike for the money...6" of travel but light too with air shocks, Fox Talas, Sram X0/X9, Race Face Deus cranks and finishing kit....reckon if you tried one you would find the extra £200!!
