its got me checking out DH bikes on ebay, now if I could just convince my wife…..
I'd have to make do with my 170mm travel 29er, but it probably wouldn't be too much of a hardship.
"my travel insurance provided through my Lloyds bank account"
My travel insurance provided by my Lloyds Bank account doesn't cover helicopter rescue or lift assisted cycling.
Actually, re-reading the policy, it doesn't cover mountain biking at all.
I will ring and check before this years trip, but under sports/activities covered it does mention cycling (wearing a helmet and no racing) up to 2500 M above sea level and later in the document it says mountain biking (no racing). Repatriation cover is included and covers emergency air transport but I can't find any mention helicopter rescue either way, so definitely worth a call to check.
Premier account if that makes a difference?
