Reccomend me a bike bag/case have been looking at the evoc bags and the thule hard case. Would much prefer a hard case but it seems that weights could be an issue. Easyjet allow 32KG max and the thule case weighs 18KG.

BikeBoxAlan is around 10kg. Its as good as they get. Only issue is that they are pretty big. Fits easy enough into back of most medium sized cars with seats down.

That said. You can get much lighter and smaller soft cases that do the job. They will not survive somebody standing all over it of course ... but hopefully no baggage handlers would do this (unlike the ones who walked all over my hard case last year).

For peace of mind. I suggest a BikeBoxAlan.

I'm quite tempted to use the CTC bike bag on a trip I'm doing in a couple of weeks .

I am considering getting an alan bike box, just wish I could be sure an xl enduro 29er would fit in one, quite expensive to find it didn't.

I've got a xxl tallbo, i was thinking sizing/fitting might be an issue but hopefully not. I have heard good things about the evoc bags and they get good reviews, but i think i would prefer a hard case

Plus one for the Evoc. Love mine, very easy to use. Bought second hand so took some of the sting out of buying.
