My megaexo BB has finally started to creak, these are the shiny 9 speed ones from a couple of years back, so are they compatible with shimano BB as the FSA ones are double the price?

Some may say yes, not so sure meself, fitted an XT HTII Cup to an FSA 386 Comet - by hand, just to see if it would fit, just took a whack with palm of my hand - and took me an hour to get the thing off again...
FSA comet is brill tho. Mud just falls off.

I don't know the Afterburner but I've got a set of FSA Gravitys on a SHimano BB, no bother.
