[Closed] What bar mounted GPS
I have been using my apple watch to track strava rides etc for a while now and whilst it is very good at what it does the battery isnt able to sustain much over 4-5 hours activity time.
I would like a bar mounted GPS unit and have been looking at the Lezyne Mini GPS however have no experience of any bar mounted GPS. I would like soemthing that will sync to strava on phone via bluetooth if thats even possible and navigation would also be a bonus.
Budget is £100 pluss or minus a little
All advice appreciated.
Thanks
I recently picked up a used Garmin 25 for £60.
I find it delightfully simple to use, it syncs automatically to Garmin Connect on my phone by Bluetooth (which in turn is configured to sync forward to Strava) within seconds of finishing a ride, it also syncs to my HRM and rear hub-mounted Garmin speed sensor for increased accuracy and the battery easily last a ride of several hours or a week of commuting. It can apparently be configured to do simplistic 'turn by turn' nav, but I confess I've never tried that out.
All in all, I'm over the moon with it and wish I'd bought one years ago.
