[Closed] What are they worth? (sorry)

[#11825789]

Please be gentle!
I’ve far too many bikes and should really make some space in the garage. Do people want to guesstimate what each of these would be worth please?
It would be great to get an idea if they are worth the hassle of boxing and selling or if I should donate them to my non-cycling friends.
Thanks.

I had this custom built and is it ridiculously light. Helitaped from new.
XTR, Chris King hubs & head set, size medium, new grips, tyres, etc.

Size small, brand new Continental GP5000 & 105 callipers, (brand new redshift 100mm stem which I’ll probably sell separately)

Size is Trek’s weird 17.5 virtual.16.5 actual. Pretty much stock apart from carbon bar & tubeless.

Single speed, very small frame with layback Thompson seat post which makes it looks wonky in the photo!

We should really have a stealth ads forum.

Tell me about the Yeti Yeti ASR5c

I assume it's 26"?
Gears?
Condition
And most importantly, location

I'm in Manc

Have a look on Ebay, you might be surprised what bikes are going for. Also, there's a max £1 fee offer for some at the moment that starts tomorrow. Paisley freight will deliver an empty box and bubble wrap, etc then collect and deliver your packed bike a couple of days later for £50. Price yours just below what they're going for + 50 postage and see what happens...

I think there' more than the seatpost at play in making the cannondale look wonky 🙂

Definitely worth advertising at the moment, you'd get cash for all of those.

That ASR-5c got me all excited. I've been on an alloy one for years and always wanted to switch the frame. Pretty sure mines a small though.

To answer you question, put them on eBay and they'll sell for sure.

Thanks JohnnyStorm - I've never sold on Ebay before so that is really useful info.

I was worried about packing and posting so I'll have a look at Paisley freight.

How tall are you and where in the country are you? Asking for a friend 🙂

(think thegeneralist got first dibs if there is such a thing when this clearly isn't an advert for bikes for sale!)

I'm based in Belfast (which I know is an issue for people on this forum if they wanted to inspect the bikes).

A couple of non-mtb friends expressed an interest in getting a bike of me but not a great deal of interest in paying anything! Because some of the bikes vary in age I don't have a good sense what they are worth which is why I was asking.

I am 5’7” in my bare feet with a 30” inseam.

You're an inch taller than me and I'm guessing on the cusp of sizing between small and medium for the ASR-5c, in which case it might be a little big for me. Otherwise I'd take a punt and make you an embarrassing offer 🙂

Looks like you've been on the forum long enough to be deemed trustworthy so hopefully someone takes you up on it!
