is afan the ort of place to be rideable in a deluge or should we give it a miss and go elsewhere??

it's all rideable but the last 4 or 5 times I've been it's pee'd down and been blowing a hoolie (which isn't a problem - just a bit harsh on the brake pads / drivetrain as the soil is hard grit)

it's a all weather type trail however there will be muddy sections but that's part of the fun.

There's been and is a fair bit of trail maintenance going on at Afan maily during the week, they have been smoothing out ruts and stuff for the better.

Also plenty of trees to hide under when the rain hits big styleee!!

If you try any where in S.Wales it will be the same

If it's too much enjoy the cafe ๐Ÿ˜‰

Throughly rideable in all-weather, but a lot scarier trying to get the best out the downhill in the rain IME, not undo-able just if you've not been before you won't get to experience it at it's best. ๐Ÿ˜•
Though this weekend, no where's gunna be dry, so just make the best of it...

Lots and lots of puddles on the Penhydd this morning, but no problem with riding it(until the 12th April when they're closing it for a year for harvesting operations).
