For the first time ever I've not been able to get a new Bonty tyre to seal onto a Rhythm rim with my track pump. So I think I might ask for a compressor for xmas! I'm sure I saw some recommedations on here but I can't find them any more. Which compressor should I ask for?

I have an ABAC 25ltr 2hp one. Cost me £100 with all the hoses, bottles and stuff. Had it for about 3 years. Good for tyres and light tool duty.
Aldi occasionally have them on offer - seemed like good value when I got one.
I got a JCB one from Focus for £25. 25l 1.5 HP. Then spent about the same again on connectors and a presta head. Works well for me.
What ever you get, get an oil free compressor and put a water trap on the line, I use a Clarks 25ltr, 2.5hp compressor with a retractable hose real, get 2 blowers, one to blow the water of the bike/dust yourself down with and the other, purchase a track pump hose repair kit and attach it to the other blower with a jubilee clip, this makes a tyre inflator.great for tubless, It the most used bit of kit on the team van,well apart from a 5mm allen key
I got a decent one from Halfords for £60.
