Never thought i'd see you ask that! Reverb is probably the best bet atm, rosebikes.co.uk have them in stock, not cheap though.

nope - never have been! Always pausing to drop the saddle, or raise it. PErhaps it's cos I always overtake you anyway you never notice me waiting.

Could well be. I'm the same, but a new rear wheel is first on the list of stuff to get.

Joplins seems to be almost universally slated but I love mine. Bought it cheap off here needing a service, £5 for some oil, free seal from 2Pure and a download from the net and its been working faultlessly without any form of boot etc to protect it for 5 months.

KS i900 ... since they redesigned the internals about 18months ago ... works a dream.
I have two versions on two different bikes, one remote & one "lever under the saddle" & have no complaints.
I've gotta say, the remote version is better for me & I use it heaps more.
