I had a look on their website and I can get the Grand Canyon 6.9 delivered to Italy for €1050 which is fifty euros under what I'd pay for the cube, but I'd seem to be taking a big hit components wise. Nice looking frames though and the tapered headset certainly futureproofs it.
The next models up in their range look nice with better forks etc but I think that would put me over budget by a few hundred.
Ahh choices choices choices! There's also a Stumpy Evo on ebay tickling my fancy too......
Just go to local specialized dealer and have what ever you can afford.
Lifetime frame warranty.
Plus excellent help and customer service. **** halfords.
Boardman Pro 29er? Picked one up on their 10% of bikes days and that stacked with my British cycling discount - so final cost was £810 down from £1000 🙂 Seemed like a good deal to me.
Boardman Pro seems good for money and now has 120mm forks.
On One Parkwood is a good buy with ace kit.
Trek Stache I a fun bike and there were still some 2013 bikes on sale at Evans and others for £950.
How about a Vitus?
On One Parkwood looks like another contender.
Sorry the Boardman is 100mm but still nice spec with Reba RLT forks.
But I am leaning towards a Parkwood for the Revelation forks Reverb and Shimano brakes and gears
Got one of these for my comute and local riding it kicks arse very quick bike nice and light very happy with it. Even left roadies in it's wake LOL
