My friend has ditched his car and bought an e bike. (That is a good thing)
He's getting pinch flats bumping up the kerbs been with 50 psi.
He has rapid robs on it but never goes off road.
So we need a strong side walled , road orientated 27.5 tyre please.

The 700x38c variant rolls very well on the road on my FatNotFat 29er Wazoo wheelset.

No idea if it's the cheapest place, but http://nextdaytyres.co.uk/details.aspx/SCHWALBE-MARATHON-CROSS-MTB-650B/1898

He's either mega heavy, mega clumsy, or faulty pressure gauge.

He has rapid robs on it.

Not for long - they wear REALLY fast on road - my rear was nearly bald after 500mi and I weigh next to nothing.

You didn't mention how much clearance is available, so i'll go for my stock commuting answer of a Schwalbe Marathon:

With a wildcard of the WTB horizon:

It's 9 miles each way and I guess he is not unweighting as much as he should on such a heavy bike.
