Can you fit a a mtb SLX chinset to a road bb90.
Also if I got the shimano 1x GRX chainest what is the smallest chain ring I could put on.
40x11 is too much. Could probably just do with a 36.
The Easton EA90 crank is basically a Raceface Cinch crank, loads of cheap direct mount rings available from 42 to 28, crank not expensive. Does need a 30mm BB though.
Thanks, but I think BB90 is 24mm only.
Ive got a pair sram rival cranks for sale. GXP 22/24mm axle. they will take a direct mount style chain ring.

BB90 30mm Bottom brackets aren't hard to find, they're a pretty standard pressfit BB.
I would sell my aunt to avoid a gxp crank and BB. It's just a **** design that is guaranteed to create drag.
Wolf Tooth do chainrings for GRX cranks, down to 36.
I've always used road cranks on gravel/cross bikes, although the 36 rings only fit on the older cranks (so not 105 R7000, Ultegra R8000, and Dura-Ace R9100).
