Anyone have a route that I can download for the XC and DH stuff at Wharncliffe?
Looking for a backup option if we decide that Stanage is a bad idea on Thursday. Never been to Wharncliffe but fancy somewhere different.

Proper wet and soggy at Wharncliffe at the moment - you wouldn't sample it at its best.

You're probably best off just having a ride about in the woods and seeing what you can find as some of the xc route has gone, though with the recent weather it will be dirtier than a slack ringed tramps arse!
The other side of the road from the carpark is where they put in a run for the Steel city dh that might have held up better due to its rockier nature!
Stanage should be fairly drained apart from the blacka plantation bit!
Might stick with stanage then, unless it's lashing down on the day!
The Greno side is boggy and slippy as all hell also. Moor are better when the weather is like this...
Stanage should be fun.
