[#4684528]

My bro is looking for a custom built steel frame. Has anyone got any recommendations for a frame builder in the Birmingham or wider West Midland areas? He is looking for someone willing to build in 853, Columbus XCR, or Prestige a hardtail suited to 100 - 120mm fork, if that helps to suggest someone.

Back in the day I used Venom - but I believe they are long gone...

Cheers,

J

Brian Rourke in Stoke is the only one vaguely in the area I can think of - a few people on here have his frames, think they still do MTB

Have you heard of Andy Perks at Bournville frameworks? Lovely frames. Look on Flickr, Bournville frameworks or you should be able to contact him through the bike co-op shop in Stricthley high street. He is on Facebook too.
Matt.
