What Specialized tyres? Have seen the Fast Track are they any use on the front, if not what is?
Fast Track rear Ground Control front would be a decent summer XC setup.
Purgatory front Ground Control rear is what I usually ride most of the year unless its really muddy. If you're not XC racing then I'd say its the one to go for.
Purgatory rear Butcher front seems to be a popular "aggressive" setup.
What bike and what riding conditions?
I rather enjoyed a few days on Butcher/Slaughter on an Enduro. Set up tubeless, with Stan's tape and liquid. Used as a trail centre/uplift day gnarpoon.
Superb fun combination. Loads of grip up front for pinning it in the berms* and nice and slippy-slidey at the back for added roost**.

Spearfish , hard pack mostly. Just the occasional mud patch to worry about.
Want something a bit bigger than my Bonty Muds. The 2.0 fast track looks huge in comparison.
