Hi all
Right, next Monday morning (which is going to be gloriously sunny :-)) I'm going to be in Brecon with my bike (road bike but fairly burly with chunky tyres), a tent and a week to cycle back home to Hampshire.
I have a rough idea of riding west to the coast, then south and finally following the Celtic Trail east to Chepstow and Bristol.
So recommendations and local knowledge please! Roads/quiet scenic lanes/tracks I need to ride, places to go, pubs/cafes I can't miss, things to see and decent campsites for a good night's kip!

On the way back go from Hay on Wye over the Gospel pass and down to Llantony. Then aim directly to Monmouth or wiggle though via Grosmont and along the river . Avoid the main Monmouth to Chepstow route by sticking to high ground either side.
