...my DX light has just blown up on the work bench, with a little "pffftzz" from the charger.

There goes tonights evening ride.

I don't supposed Smudge does same day delivery.... 😕

Is it not just the charger that's gone pop? new ones can be sourced from ebay (may well be of similar "Quality" though)

I just ordered a whole new XML light from china when my charger went pop the other day as they cost so little now, got a P7 still working so I can deal with the mid-october delivery date...

Might be worth looking for a "UK based" seller if you need it ASAP...

I scoured Ebay after my post. i don't need anything particulalrly quickly (unless it arrives and can be charge in time for 6pm tonight).

I did note I can get the same light for £30 delivered. I'd have two lamps, 2 batteries and one charger. 🙂

I use lights about 4-6 times a year so from that perspective its probably the way to go.

I've ordered the DX lights from Hopeshop2011 on ebay. Chinese/HongKong seller but the bits are in the UK so should get them tomorrow.
