[#7936291]

Hi , am just cleaning / checking the bike after a long week of riding and found that the rear non drive side bearings where the seatstay meets the chain stay are loose where they sit in the frame . They move slightly under load from side to side , and after dismantling the frame I can push them out by hand. It's like the hole in the frame where they sit has become larger. Anything I can do? Ta!

What frame and how old?

A friend has had two replacement Trek frames through similar issues. The LBS dealing with it via the importer.

I'd contact the shop you bought it from or distributer to see if it is still in warranty

Loctite a new bearing in if it's not in warranty

Thats a good shout . I think it's out of warranty

Picture number four is what I'm talking about . Two bearings marked 'a' could be loctited in? 263 the high strength stuff?

I'd try one of the 600 range (638?) they are for fitting bearings
