[#6323604]

Was out with the little one on Sunday with him sat upfront on his Weeride. Have discovered a bit of a problem though in tht he likes to copy what I do: so he's taken to changing gears for me (he's 10 months old). At first it was quite cute but I can see it becoming like riding a bike with a worn cassette.

Can you get a set of bars for him to hold onto too or is there anything I can fit to the Weeride to make his journey more interactive?

Just get him some clip on tri-bars and tell him the more Aero he is, the more Daddy will love him...

Or you could get one of these light extension bars and mount it backwards with some old shifters/levers/toys to keep him amused perhaps:

Wider bars so he can't reach the shifters.

They're 760s on the fatty already. Short of stealing some bars off a Harley I'm not sure you can get much wider.

Which weeride is it? Ours had what could i guess be described as a cushion on the front of it. Jnr FD used to just hold on to that

I have a similar problem that my daughter will grab the grip and help steer if I take a hand off for any reason, don't have the gear problem on a singlespeed though.

It's a kangaroo. He doesn't want to hold onto the cushion as it's boring & much rather play with the buttons and levers that daddy keeps adjusting.

Get a bell, my boy is way more interested in that.
