A quick ride at Durris Woods after nightshift. I felt shattered and weak so gave up after an hour.
I’ll save myself for Saturday and Sunday.
The new bike is very good btw, way more agile than I ever thought a 29’er would ever be 👍
First ride out to get a feel for the new frame at Pines downhill bit. Snapped gear cable stops play early
Up in Innerleithen for the weekend. Spent the day riding Golfie. The weather held up better than expected and the trails were spot on.

yesterday, decided to ride home from work taking in all the byways and bridleways I could. Ended up being a bit harder than I thought it would be…particularly the 5km section in the middle that took me nearly 40mins…
First summer evening local ride of the year for me (no training plan = more outside rides), thought I didn't need glasses - what a mistake that was! Swarms of flies and bugs out there.

I’ve been caught out recently commuting in twilight as the front light attracts all the bugs and I keep forgetting.
Got up Before School (egads) for a quick hour-ish blast. Believing and achieving.
Still shaking the rebuilt Epic (now vaguely christened the sEPtIC) down, so local XC style loop tonight.
That trail emu isn't getting the recognition it deserves!
He did recognise it, even called it by its name.

Mrs_oab is still unwell, but after weeks of being at home she decided a nice easy ride was the order of the day. The cycle route between Comrie and Loch Earn was the answer. Slow, but she did it.
