Seeking some local knowledge here. Thinking of a weekend bivvy trip to the Lakes in august, starting point is Oxenholme, anyone recommend a good loop that would last a couple of days?
Cheers,

From Oxenholme Station theres some great Bridleways west of you via
1Underbarrow
2Crook Hall
3Winster
Head North to the White road on map from Barker Knott, (East) towards Mitchland then do the (Boat)skirting east of Bowness on Winderemere to the A591
Any of the Bridleways north of here would be great with a Bivvy stop, on Applethwaite common, or green quarter.Stavely is a great place to stock up on food, with great Cafes and a good bike shop (Wheelbase).
have a good one. ๐
