normal conditions for me lol

Winter is riding season here, been managing to get a good 100km plus in a week up to this weekend where due to now taking on a new job only a humble 45km was only achieved, just need seed season to be over to make in completely fun.

I prefer spider and snake season to seed season, seeds get everywhere but at least the spiders and snakes try to get out of your way!

Rode from the North of Cardiff over to Cwmcarn and back, took a bit longer due to the mud and leaves slowing progress! That picture above is normally a very fast descent over roots and small stones, judging by the slide marks in the leaves I wasn't the only one getting a bit loose on it today 😀

Took a trip to Cwmcarn, rode the Cafal feeling a bit peaky, started Twrch feeling rough - bailed out half way around, threw up on my 5:10s a bit, felt better, did the last descent at warp speed an caught up some other riders who had a decent head start and felt a bit better about it all.

Snow night ride which didn't suck. Otherwise no riding but some ice skating and a bit of gym.

Old stomping ground on the trails of Lancashire West Pennine Moors.

Not been out on the bike properly for a few weeks, so this was a perfect antidote to life at the moment. Lovely day. 50km and battered at the end.
