Top weekend starting with Bikenight @ Kendal Mountain festival so thought it would be rude not to go riding in some mountains!

Also enjoyed the bike night, despite very nearly falling asleep a coupel of times.

Had already had a cracking day around Grizedale area on Friday, then did a big one further north yesterday...

You're a lucky man Rich! I love that area, ridden Ill bell into nan bield three times this year, 7 hour round trip from Ayrshire, but well worth it. I've been blessed with great weather and views every time as well.

Wet, muddy ride from Hurstwood to Todmorden and back. Winter riding is great ๐Ÿ™‚

I got the chance to go racing at the weekend

Racing is a strong word for it, getting pushed very hard for 4 days out of my comfort zone over 158km and 7 stages with some mid race party action thrown in and a variety of fine Tasmanian Weather with temperatures ranging from 10-32c.
Heaps of new trails built in the last year, loads of sweet singletrack and lots and lots of hills

Not quite as hilly or 'gnar' for me, but still a tough ride.

A great Ladybower loop, including a little bit of playing (making slow look a little less slow):

scottfitz,

Never been to the Tidworth Bike Park yet but i was not planning to go now, as I'm expecting a lot of propre Wiltshire mud clagging my wheels. However on your picture you look very clean, so is it rideable or were you just flying?

thanks.

Gilles - it will be fine on a dry day but I would leave it until the spring/summer to get the best out of the place but on Sunday I didn't get very muddy.
