@daviek Gartly, Aberdeenshire. Just pootling around and checking out a few tracks in the woods, all of which ended up going nowhere. Such is life.
45miles of muddy trails this morning on my singlespeed today around Sherwood Forest and surrounding area. Wet ground and wet leaves made for heavy going.

First proper muddy ride of the season this morning, made worse by the actions of horsists and forestry machines.

Managed a wee Global Fat Bike Day ride on Saturday, after patching 15 holes in my front tyre. 🙄It was very wet and muddy.
My new Vaude Bike Gaiters kept the shoes clean and dry, which was nice.
No pics, but did a local MTB night ride to test the new light on Saturday and a quick hour round Saddleworth on the road bike today.
Challenging conditions on both rides but top fun.
I spent a few hours chasing mates round Woburn. No mud, good grip and only one or two splashy bits. The sun even came out for a while 🙂
Got up the hill as the rain went off, loose and out of control at times, but f'in brilliant. I love it up there.

Not strictly the weekend, but Friday was my last day in Ainsa with Basque MTB. It was spectacular!
No pics as it rained most of the ride but had a really fun ride in the Peak on Saturday and then a nice easy road ride yesterday morning.
Very wet and muddy ride around Totnes last night. Mudhuggers with the downtube Crud Catcher rule!!! 😉
