Hi
Im travelling over to work in Munich for 2 weeks, from Colorado.
Im looking for a weekend's epic riding somewhere in the alps. I'm a fit rider and technically fairly advanced too...........
...don't mind training it to get somewhere within 2-3 hours journey from munich. Self-guided / mapped / gps etc, or would pay to join a guide group, so long as they are good!
Ideas? Suggestions? Recommendations! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've riden around Oberammergau/Garmish which are not too far from Munich by train. Just got a map and went off, severe climbs followed by nervous descents. Didn't find any singletrack though, it was all up/all down and pretty demanding. Must be something closer to Munich though, so sorry not that much help!

Go down to austria and oberreggan has some good hills. About 1.5 hours south of Munich.
