Weekend on North Uist - you'll be bored unless you like fishing and bird watching, there's nowt there except beautiful beaches. You can't get off the island on Sunday either.

There are ferries to and from both Skye and Harris on Sundays.

But why would you want them. You are in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

I think MBR magazine did an article on biking up there a few issues back, might be worth checking out the back issues.

If i remember i'll have a check over the weekend.
