I'm looking at doing a mini roadtrip in August, based around and Innerleithen uplift weekend.Travelling up from Herts mid week and would like to do some weekday uplifts somewhere enroute. Failing that we will do some trails riding on the way, but this will mean taking more bikes and gear.

Speak to tally about one at ae. We did it a couple of weeks ago, kindly arranged by rob off here. Great fun. I'm sure if you need extra numbers others will want to come. I have a few mates who would be willing to have another go.

Does Hamsterley run mid-week? Failing that its a road bottom to top, so you could potentially self-uplift?

Hamsterley did cross my mind, but a quick search didn't come up with anything.

Some of the guys who turned up for our midweek Ae day (through S.DH forum) said they're up for more midweek days - if you need I can put you in touch with them.

Think Hamsterley will do any day you want and only needs (IIRC) 4 riders to run it. There was a website, but it seems to have vanished...

This all sounds positive, I could potentially do Hamsterley,Ae,Inners and fort Bill! It is all in the planning stages at the moment, as I may go to France instead. I can only get away for maybe five days and staying in the UK will allow me to ride every day.
