I'm cycling the north coast 500 mid April, weighing up how to get to Inverness with the bike from South Yorkshire. If I drove my car up where could I leave it secure for a week? Trains look expensive and a bit of a hassle. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Trevor.
On street almost anywhere. PM me for a suggestion close to my work.
I'd struggle to think of somewhere I [i]wouldn't[/i] leave a car in Sneckie,
as long as its legal leave it.
I'd lock it now, twenty years ago never even took the key out.
I can't beat Scotroutes but I was going to suggest having a look at the Caledonian Canal/Great Glen way website. It hd suggestions on where to park. I left my car at the other end in Fort William so that's no help. FWIW it was fine, just parked it somwhere public. Wouldn't think twice about leaving my car on the street at home while I go on holiday so I guess most places are the same.
