I am going to head off in the next hour to one or the other and havent decided which yet??

Did anyone ride either of them yesterday and if so what are the conditions like?? I am mainly worried about the roads leading to both as I got stuck 3/4 times whilst out and about with work last week...damn rear wheel drive!!!

Obviously trails with little ice would be good too??

Any advice much appreciated!!

Cheers.

Rode to whinlatter completely clear from both sides and I suspect the N loop at least will have enough ice free riding - been > freezing for a couple of days here now.

We tried it today, along with many others, and it was a bit of a waste of time!

Well, it was a struggle to do anything worthwhile. Snow too thick and wet to get anywhere, we ended up doing the first part of the red both ways, and then the first part of the blue, 3 times, whach was fun!!!

Think Gisburn has cleared now. Couple of guys were posting on Bikeradar that it was at least rideable. Most of the snow has gone now except for the stuff that got compacted and turned to ice.
