Anyone doing either the MTB or the Road rides from Watlington this weekend.
What tyres?
Note to self - avoid area
Now I've got the curmudgeon out I would say the fastest tough tyres you have. Trails are dry but flinty.
yep - avoid the trails on saturday and the whole area on sunday.
its pretty local for me, but rarely put the bike in the car to drive for a ride, so dont often get that far along the ridge.

I think they're great. Well organised, good routes, friendly etc.
My one bad experience was going the opposite way on some single track bridleway when not taking part. Being on the receiving end of riders choosing to forget they were on a public track used by other members of the public made me think about the validity of the concept. Then I did BORS the next weekend (#hypocrite) though in their defence they don't publish times (a good thing IMHO).
I've hurt my arm so can't ride much off road. The long road ride on Sunday maybe just what I need. I wonder if it's the same course.
