Morning all
I bought a pair of altura drylines last year and hated em, every time a got out the saddle and sat back down they'd move further and further down my backside till I had to stop and hitch em back up. sod that this year.
So looking for recommendations for waterproof/water-repellent shorts/bibs to go under my Humvee's, £50 - £60 max spend
Side Note: pair of drylines XL up for sale if anybody's interested (will post in classifieds)
cheers
try the drylines in a large ? apart from a bit of rustling mine have been fine.
I have the same issue when wearing bibs under my drylines. The waist is the correct size but the things just drop down regardless. Then they catch when moving back into the saddle. PITA!
Why would you wear waterproof shorts under a pair of non-waterproof shorts - should it not be the other way round. anyway I recently bought a pair of gore waterproof shorts - been fantastic so far. But I do waer them over my other shorts 😉
True BlackDog, but with my issues with the drylines, I'm assuming I'd have the same issues with other similar over shorts.
The humvees dry well so just need something for next to the skin, they'd poss need to have some thermal property as well
get some braces for the shorts? 😉
Dan I was about to deride your idea but that may be worth a try, can't look any gimpier than a pair of bib shorts 😉
Waterproof bibshorts?
Is it April 1st?
nope serious question.
Could go for the endura stealth biblongs, but there more than I want to pay
another thought, would it work to get some grangers and proof my humvee's
Could go for the endura stealth biblongs, but there more than I want to pay
Also very hot I'd imagine! I think one reason waterproofs generally come in shell rather than next-to-the-skin form is flexibility- if the sun comes out you're not stuck in them all day, and even the most breathable ones aren't really something you'd want to be wearing if you didn't have to.
