Anyone got a recommendation? Evans have Scott Goretex Paclite shorts for £45, but i've seen Madison Tempest shorts for about £38. I already have 2 pairs of Madison shorts and get on well with them, but if the Scott shorts are substantially better i'll get them instead. Any other ideas also gratefully received.

Seem to remember the Scott ones getting an excellent review. I've got the Gore ones, can't go wrong with Goretex imo.
Edit: that is an extremely good price, half that of Gore!!
