Are the Decathlon options any good? If not, any similarly priced alternatives? I'm thinking £30-50.

Not tried the Decathlon ones but at that price range they (or alternatives) won't be very breathable so depends on what you want it for. As an emergency shell to take with you then fine but something to head out in when it's raining thinking you can ride at even a moderate pace and stay dry you're going to be disappointed

my son has a Decathlon road one. It's fine, but doesn't really breathe, so not much good if working hard - he gets wetter on the inside from sweat than from the rain. I tend to favour the water resistant soft shells, but they are a lot more expensive
