Hi,
I have just got new waterproof trousers, and am trying to work out how to clean them after a ride. Obvs I can put them in the washing machine but that's: a, not great for the environment, b, going to increase the amount of times I need to re-waterproof them and c, inefficient
What do you all do? Hose them down at the end of the ride? Brush them?

Hose.
Leave slightly grubby.
Dust off when dry.
A few items of kit will get a rinse on the machine with no spin. Then hung to dry. Seems to clear more than just hosing down.
I wash mine down with the Hydroshot at the same time as the bike. Bucket wash with Halo every now and again.
If I put them in the washing machine I'll generally just do a 10 min cycle without detergent. A little more effective than spraying down with a hose.
Occasionally I might use a mild soap and reproof.
