Does anyone do a good non rustled waterproof breathable pair of over shorts/ trousers to put on when it rains and pack away tiny when it stops?
And if not.... Why not?

I have Vaude shorts. Do what you want but check the size. I had to go up to large & they're still a bit snug around the thighs.

I want someone to make a pair of woven softshell front (schoeller type fabric), with some of bum in proper heavier duty gore ProShell , but with big venting zips no daft pockets.

Matt - Apart from the softshell bit, try sweet mudrides
Before that I had some gore overshorts, light, packable, fragile.
