ok so mostly, there are a hell of alot of male MTB'ers...and i think women MTBe'rs, is on the increase...
what with more womens mountain bikes out there and WATERPROOF jackets like the Altura range...so how come is it theat there is sooooooooo much lack of WATERPROOF SHORTS ???????
:cry:hey i dint finish there.....
retailers just dont sell them cos there just 'aint a market for them'.. :evil:thats what ive been told anyway... by various retailers... ๐ฅ ๐ฟ fair enough they do have 'waterproof (overpants) but its very hard to cycle properly in them...
its dam right sexist i think...theres lots of choice for men but hardly nowt for some of us hardier women... when you have a longer day in the saddle battling against the weather, it wud be nice just to keep your derrier abit drier...lol ๐
please someone out there make a 'market' for us outdoor women'...
they do exist...failing that i wonder if wetsuit shorts mite be an answer.. ๐

elaine anne - believe me, we have more choice than a few years ago! I'm a fan of Gore Bike Wear, yes it's expensive but it does what it's supposed to do and lasts forever.
If you look after kit and wash it, not too regularly though, it will last.
I've got those shorts and they do work. I've got a Goretex Paclite jacket that has been seriously tested in Wales (in Winter) and Devon plus my local areas. And it's at least 10 years old.
