Hello,

The missus rides flats, but her feet do get proper soaked in her 5:10s and AM40s...

I was thinking it might be best to go to a GTX of other waterproof shoe - does anyone know of a grippy enough shoe that should could go to?

Cheers

Butty

my north face hedgehog shoes have been very grippy on the odd occasion i've used them, that said though they're fairly low cut so would easily allow splash back to get in. Maybe a mid ankle version would be a good compromise?

Vibram sole is the important bit for me

No specific recommendations, but pop down to your local TK Maxx and see what they've got in. Usually some waterproof trail shoes in there. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you tried sealskin waterproof socks? That way you get to keep the grippy 5:10s.

Its more the drying time for the shoes than anything, if we do 10 days riding, wet shoes get very annoying after a while!

Thinking I could get her some GTX shoes and have them resolved with 5:10 stealth S2...

Teva Links, very quick drying time?... Stick some waterproof socks on and she's set.
