ok so i have a 04 sworks enduro and have been riding in the rain and mud for a few days and washed the bike off last night

went out tonight to tweak brakes and lifted bike and heard a rush of water!! moved the bike from side to side and slosh slosh not good i thought looked over the frame and no drain points, so i dismantle the headset and forks and tip the bike forward.......out pours about a pint of dirty brown water.....How the **** did that get there??? and is this normal???

what should i do to stop this?

I have a small hole at the bottom of BB, I guess this solves this.

my old heckler and my Litespeed Ti obed used to do this. the heckler was worse.

i used to have to remove the BB to get the water out, the Ti was even worse for the fact it had a shimano BB and was a ****er to get out.

i know mine used to get down the seattube.

ive read the bit on bike radar about drilling a small hole at the BB to let the water out but the Sworks frame has a lifetime gaurantee on it and would that not void it if i did that?

I think it may be a combination of seat post and head set ingress. Had a thought a pint of water can be pretty heavy think of the extra weight your carrying around maybe have to retune my suspension haha

The 02-04 enduros do this, my original 03 did! There are some holes behind the seat tower (above the rear shock) and also the seat tube had a hole inside it which let water in if your seatpost wasn't covering the hole.
Some copter tape cover the small holes and a longer thomson seatpost sorted the other.
You should be able to drain the water out of the screw hole for the cable guide on the BB shell.
