I have used the Elite bottles in the past with the cap which is both very brittle and doesn't actually keep dirt out.
First ride today with a Race One One Touch bottle ( http://www.raceone.it/en/bottle-cycling-onetouch/ ) which has a better lid but dirt still got in despite the fact it wasn't that muddy and the one touch spout is actually quite difficult to drink from (although I might just need to get used to it).
Anyone know of any that actually stand up to proper muddy rides?
Decathlon do a few different versions. They all do a great job.
Had no problems with my elite over the last 2.5 years, mostly off road v mucky use
crud catcher
We use the Camelback bottles.
Camelbak do a mud cap for their Podium bottles - works well and is a neat, durable solution.
Cheap Decathlon here.
Cheap tesco job as a trial, working well so far
But still prefer my camelbak bottles as far as water bottles go
Fruit shoot lids used to fit in the previous podium bottle, the new ones have a bigger nozzle though
The Halfords bottle works okay - just don't poke yourself in the eye with the "dustcap".
Halfords one and Tesco one looks exactly the same!
