Met him* over 20 years ago at a world trials round at Hawkstone and he still comes across now as he did back then.
Just out for a laugh but also very well informed about his chosen sports.
His commentary on the world trials is even more informed than his MTB commentary.

*Got pissed with him on a barrel of cider from our local pub.

Great listen. Absolutely love his enthusiasm for his work and for life in general. Ditto Martyn Ashton and they make a great double act.

Agree on Rob's impressive in-depth knowledge of DH, but it's a shame the tighter format on Red Bull now doesn't really let him show it as much as he used to.
