Any recomendations?
Always used Defeet Woolie Boolies during the winter, anyone think they have anything better? As mine have seen better days, been in the wrong wash cycle too many times.

Sold by CRC would be even better - 10% loyaly dicount to use up

Did exactly that yesterday - ordered a 2nd pair from them (1st pair still going strong after a fair few years, though) as they're good and warm, and markedly more so than say the standard Endura baa baa merino ones. The key would seem to be ensuring you're not cramping your feet up in the your shoes with the thicker socks as that's a fast route to cold feet, however warm and thick the socks are supposed to be.

Big +1.

The woolie boolies are the warmest socks I have, but I reckon there's probably warmer, the same sort of thing but thicker would find a place in my drawer for sure... But adding sealskins over the top makes for warm feet even in pretty horrible conditions.

2 pairs of Endura baa baas. Hoping they'll do the trick this winter along with my MW 80's.

Sealskinz for me

I could feel the water swilling round my shoe today after a few big pools and a fording but my feet were still toasty

i really like woolie boolies too. Just make sure your shoes aren't too tight and restricting blood flow with your thicker socks on.
