... you've come to the right place. Just back from 7 days based in Les Gets. Passport this year was in fab weather (unless you rode Sunday... mudmagedden...). We spent about half the time in the bike parks and the other half riding some amazing natural trails. Drank lots of beer. It looked a bit like this:

- first came to the alps 10 years ago and stuff like the 10% had me properly scared. I'm old and rubbish now but the bikes are so amazing, you can ride most stuff with a bit of commitment. 10% just makes me giggle now (still it was dry). First couple of days tho, it does feel big and steep.

The Mega was brilliant. Apart from ripping a brand new rear tyre about an hour in and tightening the bearings on the rear crossmax, it flew through the week. It was great to split the time between the parks and the natural trails. I love the parks - esp the black under the pleney but the natural trails just blew me away.

Last year was good, this year was brilliant. Next year, we'll be doing something different. Drove back overnight and everything just looks flat and boring. 220km/20,000m of descending, far too many beers.
