Can't wait for July when i'm heading down there, evening rides then to the Black Bull in Coniston for a pint afterwards.

... but very nippy! I had to put my full fingered gloves on after the downhill as they were getting numb! Also Walna Scar has had significant erosion over the winter and is now better (rockier) than ever. At one point I had to get off as I couldn't see a rideable line at all - though others contradicted that.

Venus is a planet, Duh

to my untutored eye, it looks like a star, but bigger ๐Ÿ™‚ FYI there are lots of other stars in the photo too. I believe 'planet' means 'wandering star'...

I rode Walna Scar last week for first time (daylight sadly) and it was ACE!

There's now a picture of it on my desk to remind me of the aceness. Don't think my colleagues can understand why I have a picture of rocks on my desk ๐Ÿ™‚

We rode over walna scar for the first time in 12 months 2 weeks ago.Deff. more rougher than what i can remember(and all the better for it).Enjoyed it so much i'm doing it again this coming sunday 8)
